Nevolnost se typicky projevuje pocitem na zvracení, ale mohou ji doprovázet i jiné obtíže, jako je bolest hlavy či bolest zad, vždy v závislosti na tom, co ji vyvolalo. Nevolnost je pak možné zmírnit několika způsoby, a to včetně konzumace zázvoru a malých porcí jídla. Pokud ale nic nepomáhá a problémy neodezní do několika dní, nebo se u vás nevolnost objevuje pravidelně, měli byste vyhledat lékaře.

Nevolnost je nepříjemný pocit v žaludku, jako by se vám chtělo zvracet. Může přitom zvracení předcházet, ale není to pravidlem. Samotná žaludeční nevolnost není nemocí, ale často bývá příznakem mnoha nejrůznějších stavů, kam patří infekce, otrava jídlem, migréna a mnoho dalších. Častá nevolnost také může být známkou nějakého vážnějšího onemocnění, včetně poruchy jaterních funkcí či rakoviny. [1, 2]

Co nevolnost od žaludku způsobuje?

Žaludeční nevolnost může pramenit z různých příčin. Někteří lidé jsou vysoce citliví na určité potraviny, pohyby, léky nebo také účinky některých zdravotních stavů. Mezi dvě nejčastější příčiny nevolnosti patří střevní chřipka (virová gastroenteritida) a otrava jídlem. Nevolnost však může způsobit i celá řada dalších jevů. Mezi ty běžné patří především:

  • mořská nemoc, nevolnost v autě nebo při jiném pohybu (kinetóza),
  • nevolnost po těžko stravitelném jídle,
  • nevolnost z hladu,
  • nevolnost na začátku těhotenství,
  • intenzivní bolest,
  • nevolnost od bolesti krční páteře či bederní páteře,
  • kontakt s chemickými toxiny,
  • nevolnost ze stresu a strachu,
  • nevolnost před menstruací nebo při menstruaci,
  • nevolnost po alkoholu,
  • určité pachy,
  • některé viry,
  • přecitlivělost nebo alergie na určitou potravinu,
  • migrény  (motání hlavy a nevolnost).

Ve většině případů lékaři považují nevolnost (samotnou i v kombinaci se zvracením) za neškodnou, ale někdy může být i známkou vážnějšího onemocnění. Mezi závažné zdravotní stavy, které mohou způsobit nevolnost, se řadí:

Nevolnost po jídle

Načasování nevolnosti a zvracení může naznačovat, co je příčinou obtíží. Pokud se u vás nevolnost objeví krátce po jídle, může být způsobena přecitlivělostí či alergií na nějakou surovinu, otravou jídlem (například pokud není čerstvé nebo došlo ke kontaminaci), zánětem žaludeční sliznice nebo vředem.

Nevolnost 1 hodinu až 8 hodin po jídle rovněž může být zapříčiněna otravou jídlem, jelikož u některých bakterií může trvat déle, než se projeví. Virové infekce trávicího traktu, jako je střevní chřipka, mohou ovšem také způsobit nevolnost po jídle. Infekci pak často doprovází průjem a teploty. [6, 7]

Bolest hlavy a nevolnost

Častou příčinou nevolnosti kombinované s bolestí hlavy jsou migrény. Ty mohou vyvolat další příznaky, jako je točení hlavy nebo přecitlivělost na světlo. Jinými důvody pro bolest hlavy spojenou s nevolností ale může být také dehydratace a nízká hladina cukru.

Dehydratace může nastat, pokud pijete málo tekutin, přičemž nízká hladina cukru může být způsobena nadměrnou konzumací alkoholu, vedlejšími účinky některých léků, hladověním nebo také onemocněním jater či ledvin. Nevolnost a bolesti hlavy však může vyvolat i mnoho z výše uvedených zdravotních stavů. [8, 9]

Bolest zad a nevolnost

Bolesti zad jsou u lidí běžné a mohou se lišit v závažnosti i typu bolesti. Mohou být ostré i tupé, slabé, ale i silné natolik, že je doprovází nevolnost. Nevolnost od páteře může způsobit například ústřel neboli lumbago, což je velmi intenzivní až paralyzující bolest.

Stejně tak může bolest zad souviset se střevními problémy a vystřelovat do zad. K tomu může docházet například tehdy, trpíte-li binární kolikou, což je stav, při kterém vám žlučníkové kameny ucpávají žlučník.

Onemocnění jater také může způsobit nevolnost a bolesti zad. V tomto případě většinou bolest začíná v pravé horní části žaludku a poté přechází do zad. Závažná onemocnění jater, jako je cirhóza nebo rakovina jater, zpravidla způsobují bolest, která se postupně zhoršuje. Nevolnost a bolesti zad může dále zapříčinit například pankreatitida nebo vředy. Co pomáhá na nevolnost?

Nejlepší způsob, jak se zbavit nevolnosti, je zjistit, co ji způsobilo. Například sezení na předním sedadle v autě může pomoci zmírnit nevolnost z auta, zatímco vyhýbání se potravinám, které vám dráždí žaludek, může zmírnit nevolnost z jídla. Důležité je pít dostatek tekutin, abyste byli hydratovaní.

Při nevolnosti je vhodné pít pomalu malými doušky vodu nebo bylinkové čaje. Pomoci může také chlazený nápoj nebo zázvorový čaj. Snažte se nevynechávat jídlo, jelikož prázdný žaludek může často nevolnost ještě zhoršit a místo toho jezte jídla v malém množství.

Vhodnými pokrmy mohou být například sendviče, nudle, pudinky, sušenky, suché krekry či polévka. Naopak se vyhýbejte tučným, kořeněným nebo sladkým jídlům. Odpočívejte, jak jen můžete, a vyhněte se příliš rychlému vstávání ze židle nebo z postele. Dále vám mohou pomoci následující věci:

Léky na nevolnost

Váš lékař vám může také předepsat léky na nevolnost, jako je antihistaminikum nebo antiemetikum, což je lék na zastavení zvracení. Pokud je důvodem nevolnosti nějaký konkrétní zdravotní stav, lékař s vámi prodiskutuje nejvhodnější způsob léčby. [12, 13, 14]

Kdy vyhledat lékaře

Lékaře byste měli vyhledat vždy, pokud nevolnost trvá déle než několik dní nebo u žen existuje možnost otěhotnění. Pokud domácí léčba nefunguje nebo došlo ke zranění (jako je poranění hlavy), které může způsobit zvracení, je na místě vyhledat lékařskou pomoc.

Dospělí by se měli poradit s lékařem, trvá-li zvracení a průjem déle než 24 hodin. Děti byste měli vzít k lékaři, pokud zvracení trvá déle než několik hodin, je přítomen průjem, objeví se známky dehydratace, mají horečku nebo pokud dítě 4–6 hodin nemočilo.

Dále vyhledejte lékaře, pokud nevolnost a zvracení doprovází bolesti nebo silná bolest hlavy, zvláště pokud jste tento typ bolesti hlavy ještě neměli nebo máte příznaky dehydratace, jako je nadměrná žízeň, sucho v ústech, nepravidelné močení, tmavě zbarvená moč a slabost nebo závratě či točení hlavy při postavení. Neprodlenou lékařskou pomoc byste měli vyhledat vždy, pokud se u vás objeví:

  • krev při zvracení, která připomíná kávovou sedlinu,
  • bolest na hrudi,
  • silná bolest břicha nebo křeče,
  • rozmazané vidění,
  • zmatek,
  • vysoká horečka a ztuhlý krk,
  • fekální zápach ve zvratcích,
  • krvácení z konečníku. [15, 16, 17]
