Přestože lékaři považují vysoký krevní tlak za velice nebezpečný zdravotní problém, na první pohled bohužel nemusí být tyto potíže nijak poznat. Zpočátku obvykle doprovází zvýšený krevní tlak pouze nespecifické příznaky, jako je celková únava, bolest hlavy, nevolnost nebo třeba hučení v uších. Nepodaří-li se jej včas odhalit, dochází k rozvoji mnoha nepříjemných komplikací.

Vysoký krevní tlak (hypertenze) dnes patří mezi civilizační choroby. Označuje situaci, kdy hodnota krevního tlaku nepřirozeně stoupne, což u dospělých pacientů většinou odpovídá hodnotě 140/90 mmHg. Svou roli zde ale samozřejmě hraje řada různých kritérií, takže hodnota, která je pro někoho ještě v normě, může být u jiného člověka riziková.

Druhy hypertenze:

  • Primární hypertenze – v tomto případě není za rozvoj vysoké krevního tlaku zodpovědné žádné jiné onemocnění. Touto formou údajně trpí až 90 % osob, které se s hypertenzí potýkají. Na vině může být dědičnost v kombinaci s dalšími faktory, jako je pacientův věk, strava, kouření, nedostatečné množství pohybové aktivity nebo stres.
  • Sekundární hypertenze – u pacientů trpících sekundární hypertenzí způsobuje vznik potíží jiné onemocnění. Sem patří například syndrom spánkové apnoe, stenóza ledvinných tepen, diabetická glomeruloskleróza či glomerulonefritida, Cushingův syndrom, onemocnění štítné žlázy, nadbytek aldosteronu nebo přítomnost nádoru. Jaké má vysoký krevní tlak příznaky?

Jelikož zpočátku může toto onemocnění probíhat asymptomaticky (bez viditelných obtíží), pacienti o svém problému mnohdy nevědí a nevěnují mu žádnou pozornost. Cítí se totiž zdraví a nemají pocit, že by je něco v jejich životě omezovalo. Právě to je ovšem na vysokém tlaku nebezpečné. Když nedojde ke včasnému zahájení léčby, nemoc se skrytě rozvíjí a pacientům způsobí další problémy.

Pokud přemýšlíte o tom, jak poznat vysoký tlak, měli byste se zaměřit na jakékoliv potíže, které jste dříve nepociťovali. Na to, že je něco v nepořádku, mohou upozornit různé nespecifické příznaky, které na první pohled připomínají jiné zdravotní problémy. Obvykle vyvolává vysoký tlak bolest hlavy, ale jde také o celkovou schvácenost, nevolnost nebo nadměrné pocení. Patří sem ale i další symptomy, které spousta lidí nepovažuje za důvod k panice.

Nespecifické projevy vysokého tlaku:

Zaznamenáte-li některé z výše zmiňovaných obtíží, měli byste co nejrychleji vyhledat lékařskou pomoc. Samozřejmě se nemusí jednat zrovna o příznaky vysokého tlaku, ale je dobré svou situaci raději konzultovat s lékařem, který je schopný odhalit příčinu potíží a doporučit vám vhodnou terapii. Bez včasného zahájení léčby může mít totiž vysoký krevní tlak velmi nepříjemné následky.

Vysoký krevní tlak může poškodit lidské zdraví různými způsoby. Pokud se neléčí, poškozuje řadu důležitých orgánů, kam patří srdce, mozek, oči nebo také ledviny. Zaznamená-li člověk systolický tlak vyšší než 210 mmHg či diastolický tlak vyšší než 130 mmHg, jedná se pak o hypertenzní krizi, která vyžaduje okamžitou péči lékařů. [5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

Možné komplikace

Někteří pacienti bohužel žádné nespecifické příznaky nepozorují nebo jim zkrátka nevěnují dostatečnou pozornost a k odhalení vysokého krevního tlaku tedy dojde až na základě dlouhodobě se rozvíjejících potíží. Tyto komplikace navíc často bývají nevratné, a proto je v nejlepším zájmu každého člověka se jim obloukem vyhnout. Patří sem například:

Vysoký krevní tlak v těhotenství

Hypertenze představuje jednu z nejčastějších komplikací, s nimiž se nastávající maminky během gravidity potýkají. Důvodem je například skutečnost, že spousta žen otěhotní až po třicítce, ale k rizikovým faktorům patří také kouření, obezita, diabetes mellitus, nadměrný stres nebo třeba vícečetné těhotenství. Svou roli zde ovšem hraje i dědičnost.

Lehce vyšší krevní tlak v těhotenství nepředstavuje velké riziko. Pokud však hodnota stoupne příliš, může mít na svědomí celou řadu problémů. U nastávajících matek je to především poškození tepen, mozku nebo ledvin. Kromě toho ovšem může mít vysoký krevní tlak na svědomí také předčasný porod, potrat nebo zpomalený růst dítěte vlivem nedostatečného zásobování plodu kyslíkem a potřebnými živinami.

Dále pak může mít vysoký tlak příznaky v podobě preeklampsie, což je velice závažný stav, jenž postihuje různé orgány. K jeho projevům patří kromě vysokého tlaku například otoky dolních končetin, přítomnost bílkoviny v moči, ale i rozmazané vidění, horečka, zrychlený tep či bolest hlavy. K rozvoji obtíží přitom dochází náhle a preeklampsie pak představuje velké riziko pro matku i její dítě. [14, 15, 16, 17]
